We are excited to announce the release of the second single from the forthcoming Paul Dempsey solo album, Everything is True. Titled ‘Ramona Was A Waitress‘, this track is a complete contrast to the stripped back acoustic sparseness of first single, ‘Out the Airlock‘. A pounding meditation on artificial intelligence, love, death and robots, ‘Ramona‘ sees Paul manning all instruments led by a driving mechanical pulse into a beautiful piano-driven chorus that carries you away somewhere else entirely.
Ramona arrives digitally via itunes on the 3rd of July, and then as a very limited edition CD single with 3 exclusive b-sides (including Paul’s much talked about cover of the Kim Carnes classic, Bette Davis Eyes’) instore on the 24th of July.
