In 1998 after the first Something for Kate album was released Paul Dempsey recorded what would technically be his first solo album. Released under the name ‘Scared of Horses’ and titled An Empty Flight the album is a beautiful collection of music written & played by Dempsey featuring the lyrical and vocal talents of Glenn Richards (Augie March), Jamie Hutchings (Bluebottle Kiss), Heinz Reigler (Not From There), Andrea Prudente (Arrosa), Dik (S:Bahn), Stephanie Ashworth (Sandpit, Something for Kate) and Laura Macfarlane (Ninety-nine).
After selling out its initial pressing in a flash, it has been near impossible to find ever since and subsequently became a rare and highly collectible item. Finally we now have the great pleasure of making it available via iTunes on September 3rd.

In direct response to the huge number of requests to add his own shows while he is in Australia to play with Powderfinger, Paul is excited to announce that he will be playing two very special solo shows at The Corner Hotel, Melbourne on Friday October 8th, and The Annandale Hotel, Sydney on Sunday October 10th.

We are also very excited to announce that Paul will head back to Australia again in October to join his good friends, Powderfinger, as they play their last ever shows. Get in quick for remaining tickets though as they are selling fast!
