Paul Dempsey performs My Tunes… Sold Out

23/09/2015

My Tunes is a brand new live acoustic series with a personal touch. Each month Giant Dwarf invites a prominent Australian figure to choose a musician special to them to come and perform. It could be the album that helped them through a breakup, a song that alleviated a bout of homesickness, or an artist whose passion and talent ignited their love for music altogether.
The evening will consist of a couple of exclusive live and intimate acoustic performances by the artist followed by a Q&A with the host. Not only will the audience hear about the influences and stories behind the artist’s music, but the artist will be given the opportunity to talk to the host about the specific period of time that led them to their music. The Q&A will be interlaced with memories shared by listeners and audience members.
The first edition of My Tunes will be taking place on Wednesday the 21st  October and be hosted by Zan Rowe of triple j, who will be chatting to Paul Dempsey of Something for Kate.

MyTunes

Where: Giant Dwarf, 199 Cleveland St, Redfern, Sydney
