Recorded live at The Corner Hotel, Melbourne on Saturday February 23rd in conjunction with New Found Frequency, the band recorded this limited edition Artist Controlled Bootleg. Well, The Murmur Tour finally finished up in Brisbane with 2 cracking shows at The Zoo on the weekend. The band would like to thank everyone who came along to the shows over the last few weeks – the band had a blast and cant wait to do it all again. Stay tuned to the website for news of a live record from this tour and also if you missed out on tour merchandise check the ‘CONSUME’ section shortly for some official tour tees and posters. |
The photography and blog sections here on the site have been updated with photos from behind the scenes of recent TV performances the band has been doing (see the photo section titled ‘More Electioneering’) and from The Forum Theatre in Melbourne, the first show of The Murmur Tour. The Playroom set the band recently recorded will be aired over three weeks on Channel V and Music Max from Sunday 23rd September. This live set is also available for download through iTunes. The set features a rare live version of REM’s “The One I Love”, a solo acoustic version of “Impossible” along with “The Futurist” with live guest vocals from Bertie Blackman plus great versions of “Down the Garden Path” and “California”. |
