DRUMS.
I sit here in the midst of Album 6 listening to the rough, rough mixes with some nice callouses on my hands from a solid 10 days of tracking.
We spend months together writing these pieces of music… sometimes fiercely arguing, sometimes intently discussing, sometimes hating, sometimes loving but mostly procrastinating. Not knowing whether you’ve made the right decision or not. Congleton just said drums sound great. Phew. Then you start thinking about playing them live… Rhythm section aren’t ready to deal with that yet.
Oh I broke my first stick today.
