Never released as a commercial single, ‘California’ was SFK’s first digital download single. With its 3 b-sides, This CD sampler went to radio on January 15th 2007. The physical CD was never commercially available.

The single ‘California’ was mixed for this release by Matt Lovell and B -sides include previously unreleased new songs ‘Cassandra Walks the Plank’ and ‘Oh Kamikaze’ – T-Rek remix.

There’s also a bonus track – a cover of The Clash’s ‘Rock The Casbah’ recorded by SFK in their Melbourne rehearsal room.

A very limited physical version of this single sampler was pressed and  given away to the first 200 people at a secret show in Melbourne in 2014 when the band played under the name ‘Max Planck & the Survival Experts’
